About This Nurse Educator, Infection Control Nurse Role
<p>Avalon, CA Infectious Disease-RN - Responsible to maintain and keep current three copies of the Infection Control and Prevention Manual. This includes writing all IC|IP policies for the manual.<br>Do routine Infection Control inspections of the facility. Document findings and notify the department managers and appropriate staff as indicated. Keep a log of the quarterly Infection Control Check lists for each department involved. A summary of the quarterly check lists is reported to the Medical Staff and the Board of Directors.<br>Provide in-services annually based on Title 22 and whenever a need is recognized or required for all staff.
