About This Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Role
<p>Psychiatry/Mental Health-NP - While working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will complete assessments, DSM 5 diagnoses and formulate psychiatric|substance use treatment plans.</p> <p>Candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe psychiatric medications. Diagnose and, where appropriate, prescribe psychotropic medications for DSM 5 diagnoses. Monitor responses to medication(s) and adjust dosage(s), change medications as needed, recognize adverse reactions respond appropriately.
