We are seeking an experienced Pathology Assistant for a short-term contract assignment in Cooperstown, NY. Responsibilities
- Perform gross examination and dissection of surgical pathology specimens.
- Prepare and document specimens for microscopic examination.

Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Pathology Assistant program.
- ASCP Pathologists' Assistant (PA(ASCP)) certification preferred or required per facility policy.
- Previous experience in surgical pathology preferred.
- Proficiency in gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety, quality assurance, and specimen handling procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
