Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric care to patients in a 24-bed inpatient unit
- Evaluate and manage adult and adolescent psychiatric patients
- Provide psychiatric evaluations in the Emergency Department
- Provide psychiatric consultations to the general hospital
- Manage a broad range of psychiatric diagnoses
- Collaborate with APPs and multidisciplinary support teams
Requirements
- MD or DO with specialization in Psychiatry
- Minimum 1 year of physician experience
- Inpatient psychiatry experience
- Comfortable treating adult and adolescent patients
- Must be willing to evaluate and treat patients of all ages and diagnoses in the Emergency Department
- Must be willing to provide psychiatric consultations to the general hospital
Benefits
- $3,250/week for 12-hour shifts
- $250.50/hour OT pay
- Airfare reimbursement up to $1,000 round trip
- Housing available at approximately $70/night
