GLC Government Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work a Full Time long-term Government Contract at a Federal Correctional Facility. Location: Coleman FL Setting: FCI Coleman Correctional Facility Contract: Ongoing Contract Pay: $65 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday, between the hours of 6am and 4pm (1/2-hour unpaid lunch), 35 hours per week. Hours and schedule are based on the needs of the client and are subject to change. License/Certification: Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required) Physician Assistant License (Required) BLS Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities
- Scope of Work:
- Contract Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will perform comprehensive evaluations and treatments within his/her scope of practice in the area of male and female health.
- You will document all encounters with inmates in their medical chart on a daily basis.
- You will be supervised by the Health Services Administrator and clinical supervision by the Clinical Director.
- All reports and/or documentation written by the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be reviewed and cosigned by the Clinical Director.
- All recommendations for further diagnostic testing and/or treatment will be made to the Clinical Director, who will retain professional responsibility for patients referred.
Requirements
- Requirements:
- Clear and active licensure to practice in the state of Florida
- DEA preferred but not required.
- CPR certified
- Minimum of 1-year experience in male and female health
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
