Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive new patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Manage follow-up appointments to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Collaborate with the lead physician on complex cases and contribute to a team-based approach to care
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and self-management strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records using eClinicalWorks EHR system
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Texas state license or eligibility to obtain
- DEA license
- Some clinical experience is preferred, but not required
- A background in pain management, orthopedics, or a related musculoskeletal specialty is a plus
