Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages
- Conduct physical examinations, diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and X-rays
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Texas
- Open to recent graduates; experience in a primary care setting is a plus
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Experience or interest in addiction medicine
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
