Responsibilities
- Hospital:
- Round on orthopaedic patients and manage day-to-day care
- Evaluate ortho conditions in the hospital and ED (routine to urgent/emergent)
- Wound checks/care, splinting, dressing application, basic reductions/temporary immobilization (within scope)
- Review imaging, labs, vitals, and adjust plans as patients change
- Coordinate discharge plans and post-acute referrals
Requirements
- PA or NP (Master's from an accredited program)
- NCCPA (PA) or NP board certified
- Active state license + DEA
- BLS required
- OR experience required
- Orthopaedics / First Assist experience preferred
